Anantha Sudhaker Babbili is a senior American educationist and an accomplished thought leader in American higher education with four decades of experience in academic leadership, administration and management, and in teaching and research. He served as the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi for three years and Dean of the College of Mass Communication at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) for five years. On Nov 5, 2024, he became the only Indian American ever elected in general elections as Regent of Texas and US higher education. He was appointed as Lead by both Indian and US governments in their Partnership for Workforce development for the Future in both the countries. Babbili’s academic leadership in the institutions he served consistently showed increased cultural, gender and global diversity on the faculty and in the student body and boost in international and community learning. He has implemented concrete structures that resulted in student retention and student success, in increased student financial assistance at undergraduate and graduate levels, and in enhanced revenue streams and alumni and community support for programs and scholarships.
Babbili is the President and CEO of the non-profit 501(c) 3 organization, the World Affairs
Council of South Texas, and is on the Governing Council of the Reliance Group’s CSR initiatives.

Prof. Mamidala has been an educationist for twenty years. He is a researcher, teacher, academic administrator, and a thought leader. He worked at the Osmania University, and the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS). He is counted amongst India’s top biotechnologists. He holds postgraduate degrees in botany and biotechnology; and a PhD in Biotechnology. He was awarded multiple fellowships to pursue three years of postdoctoral research at Ohio State University. Prof. Mamidala is widely credited to have turned around the TSWREIS, an umbrella organization that administers over 300 state-funded public schools in Telangana. At TSWREIS, Prof. Mamidala was the first point of contact for several international organizations including the United States Department of State.
Dr. Prakash holds a postgraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Hyderabad and a doctoral degree in literature from the University of Mississippi. He has taught at universities in the United States, Cyprus, and India. He was a tenured professor of English Literary Studies at the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. Widely acclaimed for his academic abilities and administrative acumen Dr. Prakash is known for encouraging young people to aspire for global opportunities. In his spare time, he writes in popular newspapers and enjoys writing for popular audience.
Brother C.A. Thomas is one of India’s foremost experts in the areas of industrial training. A senior member of the Montfort Brothers of the Society of St. Gabriel, Brother C.A. Thomas is a widely respected academic administrator, and civil society leader. As the director of the Boys Town Industrial Institute in Hyderabad, he trained and provided sustainable jobs 10,000 Indian youth, including those with hearing disability. He was the director of the Bangalore based civil society organization Society for Knowledge and Progress for ten years. Brother Thomas is widely travelled and is well acquainted with the skill training and community college structures across the world. Brother Thomas was one of the few experts from India that participated in the United States government sponsored Community College Administrators Program (CCAP) in 2015. He speaks English, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi.
